Italian
Italian is offered to students as an option in years 10 and 11. Students who choose this option need to enjoy learning languages because there is a lot of work to cover in the time available.
Students who take up the option to study Italian follow the Edexel GCSE course which allows them to complete coursework throughout the two years, while retaining the rigour of a final exam.
There is a cultural trip to Rome organised in Year 11. Students will visit all the famous historical sites and have an opportunity to speak the language they have been learning.
