Governors Information

The Governing Body of The Robert Manning College has three main roles:

1. To provide a strategic direction for the work and improvement of the College.
2. To support, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the College, acting as a “critical friend”.
3. To hold the College to account for the standards achieved and the quality of education.

The Governors carry out these roles through various committees and visits to the College. This enables them to understand the wealth of College data and ask appropriate questions, to build up good relationships with the staff and to contribute to the self evaluation processes through the Self Evaluation Form.
